Life is too short to not think freely

About Me

Elizabeth Gillanders is a political activist and writer with a passion to influence culture by spreading truth. Politics has always been a part of her life from an early age, as her parents instilled in her a sense of patriotic duty from the beginning. As she aged, Elizabeth began branching out from simply tagging along with her parents to doing her own activism. She participated in multiple state campaigns, led teams of doorknockers for the Michigan Republican Party, became a social media manager for her Turning Point USA chapter, and spoke out through her writing.

She graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Government, and a minor in Psychology. She was recently blessed with the opportunity to work in the Office of Governor Glenn Youngkin as Special Assistant to the Secretary of Health and Human Resources. As she looks to what is next, Elizabeth hopes to pursue a career where she can continue to write and advocate for the God-given principles that make America great.

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

– Philippians 3:12-14
